PREVENTION OF IRON-DEFICIENCY ANEMIA IN ADOLESCENT GIRLS

Iron deficiency anemia is a serious public health problem affecting adolescent girls worldwide. Adolescence is a period of rapid growth and development, and nutritional deficiencies during this stage of life can have long-term consequences for health and well-being. Iron deficiency anemia is caused by inadequate dietary iron intake, poor absorption of iron, heavy menstrual bleeding, and other factors such as infections and chronic illness. This article presents evidence-based interventions to prevent iron deficiency anemia in adolescent girls, including dietary interventions, iron supplements, and educational and outreach activities. The article also discusses the challenges and opportunities for implementing these interventions in the context of low- and middle-income countries

DELAYED PUBERTY AND VARIOUS DEVELOPMENTAL DISORDERS IN BOYS (TEENAGERS) IN THE SURKHANDARYA REGION

In this article, the authors analyze the data of a study performed in Termez and 4 districts of the Surkhandarya region among 523 adolescents (boys) aged 11-17 years. In total, various disorders of sexual and general development were identified among 245 adolescents (48.6%), of which among 83 (33.8%) this pathology was combined with an iodine deficiency state of varying degrees. 11/6 examined adolescents suffered from one or another disorder of general development on the background of iodine deficiency and thyroid diseases. In the structure of malformations of the genital organs, the role of iodine deficiency was 13.43% - these are 8 p-s with DG out of 58 identified patients

The relevance of the chosen topic is to identify the main areas of activity of Muslim women in the period of early Islam, which are still little-studied areas of science. The analysis of the scientific works of that period made it possible to discover numerous examples of the active work of Muslim women in various areas of scientific knowledge. The beliefs prevailing in our time that Muslim women were deprived of the possibility of creative growth due to religious restrictions do not allow researchers to fully and objectively assess the historical processes within the vast expanse of the Arab Caliphate. An analysis of the literature shows that certain factual material has been accumulated regarding the activities of Muslim women, a general picture of its existence has been recreated, but there are still few exhaustive research works on the study of the history of the activities of Muslim women scientists. This article attempts to show a general picture of the development of the scientific thought of Islamic civilization with an emphasis on the contribution of Muslim scientists to the development of education, science, education in the Islamic world, the flourishing of Muslim medieval culture.

FORMATION OF INTELLECTUAL ABILITIES OF STUDENTS OF THE CHEMICAL DIRECTION OF A HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION

The results of the three-year work experience of the Department of Chemistry at the Faculty of Physics and Chemistry of Chirchik State Pedagogical University, aimed at the formation and development of intellectual abilities of students in the process of studying chemical disciplines, are analyzed. Examples of specific activities of teachers in this direction in the organization of the study of chemical disciplines are given. It is shown that the combination of traditional methods of conducting laboratory classes with conducting scientific mini-studies contributes to the development of intellectual abilities and allows improving the quality of chemical training of future specialists. The article shows that the concept of "intelligence" at the present stage of development of science is largely determined by the purposes for which it is used and the theoretical justification of this use. At the same time, there is currently no unified interpretation of the concept of "intelligence". A definition of the concept of intelligence is proposed, in the context of the need to solve problems in the educational sphere: intelligence is mental activity, based on the formed algorithms of thinking obtained in the process of education, which ensures successful adaptation in various circumstances. Revealed the functions of intelligence, manifested through intellectual abilities.
