PRINCIPLES OF CONSERVATIVE AND SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CHRONIC COLOSTASIS
Egamov Yu.S., Durdiev Kh.B., Botirov A.K., Otakuziev A.Z
Abstract: Colostasis (CS) or chronic constipation (CC) is a heterogeneous pathology. The term "constipation" cannot be used to refer to an independent disease. This concept combines a complex of general and gastrointestinal symptoms. The authors, during the study, conclude that the principles of conservative therapy and the principles of surgical treatment of CS have been optimized. At the same time, surgical tactics should be based on the severity, duration of medical history, gender, as well as concomitant therapeutic pathology, i.e. should be active diagnostic and individual when choosing the volume of colon resection and methods of forming interintestinal anastomoses.

FEATURES OF THE COURSE OF THE NEONATAL PERIOD IN NEWBORNS BORN TO MOTHERS WHO UNDERWENT COVID-19 DURING PREGNANCY
Rakhmankulova Z.Zh., Khodjamova N.K., Elmurodova Sh.I.
Abstract: The purpose of the study. To study the peculiarities of the course of the neonatal period in newborns born to mothers who underwent COVID-19 during pregnancy. Materials and methods. 70 premature babies were examined: The 1st main group consisted of 40 children born to mothers who suffered COVID-19 of varying severity during pregnancy, the 2nd group consisted of 30 premature babies whose mothers did not suffer from this infection. Clinical, anamnestic and statistical studies were conducted. Results. Among premature babies born from mothers who suffered severe COVID-19 during pregnancy, deeply premature and moderately premature babies are significantly more likely to be born than from mothers who suffered mild COVID-19. In children born from mothers who suffered from coronavirus infection, especially to a severe form, there was a tendency for body weight gain to lag in the neonatal period compared with children whose mothers did not suffer from COVID-19 during pregnancy.

CORRECTION OF COMPLICATIONS AFTER LIVER ECHINOCOCCATOMY USING MINIMALLY INVASIVE INTERVENTIONS
Botirov A.K., Turgunboev A.A., Otakuziev A.Z., Bozorov N.E.
Abstract: To date, significant experience in the surgical treatment of echinococcosis has been accumulated throughout the world, but the 21st century was marked by the fact that at the annual meetings of the WHO, the problem of echinococcosis is not off the agenda, including those related to surgical aspects. The authors, in the course of the study, conclude that the developed diagnostic and treatment measures using ultrasound and fistulography make it possible to establish a diagnosis in the shortest possible time and select the optimal method of treating LE. Laparoscopic sanitation and ultrasound-guided puncture and drainage interventions in the treatment of complicated LE after EE can now find wider clinical application. You should refrain from this technique only in the presence of multilocularity and massive hyperechoic inclusions (sequestra). In other clinical situations, puncture-drainage intervention may be considered the method of choice.

THE STRUCTURE OF MORBIDITY IN PREMATURE INFANTS WITH AN ASYMMETRIC VARIANT OF INTRAUTERINE GROWTH RETARDATION IN THE NEONATAL PERIOD
Khodjamova N.K., Rakhmankulova Z.Zh., Khamidullayeva N.O.
Abstract: It was found that in the premature main group, diseases such as early sepsis and gastrointestinal diseases were significantly more common (P <0.001) than in premature infants of the comparison group. Among the diseases of the central nervous system, structural disorders of the brain in the form of periventricular leukomalacia were found only in the group of newborns with an asymmetric variant of intrauterine development delay. In children with intrauterine growth retardation, respiratory disorders were more often (P <0.001) due to congenital pneumonia.

DISTRIBUTION OF EPIDEMIOLOGICAL RISK FACTORS OF CHOLECYSTITIS IN THE YOUNG AND MIDDLE-AGED POPULATION OF THE TERRITORIES OF UZBEKISTAN, FEATURES OF THE FORMED MECHANISM AND PREVENTION OF THE DISEASE IN RELATION TO THEM (LITERATURE REVIEW)
Botirov J.A., Mamasoliev N.S., Madazimov M.M.
Abstract: The authors of this literature review have analyzed the spread of epidemiological risk factors of cholecystitis in the young and middle-aged population of Uzbekistan, the mechanisms of the disease and its prevention in relation to them, showing the relevance and necessity of the topic. It can be concluded that risk factors are involved in the origin and development of chronic cholecystitis, in the young and middle-aged population, risk factors have a "large contribution". Taking them into account dramatically reduces the risk of disease or eliminates it to a certain extent. In screening - control / prevention, it should definitely be taken into account.

FAUNA AND ECOLOGY OF BIVALVE MOLLUSKS OF THE GENUS SYNANODONTA IN AQUATIC ECOSYSTEMS OF THE LOWER REACHES OF THE AMU DARYA, FAMILY UNIONIDAE
Boymurodov S.Kh.
Abstract: It is important to suggest that in our republic, one of the most important issues is the study of the protection of biological resources of aquatic ecosystems and their rational use. The distribution of 3 species Sinanodonta gibba, Sinanodonta ruerorum, Sinanodonta orbcularis, belonging to the Sinanodonta family of the Unionidae family, in the aquatic ecosystems of the lower reaches of the Amu Darya has been established. It has been analyzed that these species live in swampy and sandy biotopes of slow-flowing rivers, reservoirs, fisheries and ponds at depths from 1.5 m to 2-2.6 m. Species belonging to the genus Synanodonta are producers with increasing temperature There was a gradual increase in water between the months March and June.

PREDICTION OF POST-COVID COMPLICATIONS IN HUMANS WITH METABOLIC SYNDROME AND ITS COMPONENTS
Mirzaeva U.Z., Nasirova Kh.K., Muminova S.U.
Abstract: This article is devoted to the study of modern diagnostic methods in patients with metabolic syndrome who have had COVID-19. Post-Covid syndrome (PCS), also known as “long COVID,” is a relatively new problem for healthcare professionals in terms of its expected prognosis. To date, its pathogenetic mechanisms have not been fully studied. It is a symptom complex that can affect various human organs and systems, regardless of the severity of the SARS-CoV-2 infection and in all age groups. Purpose of the study: To study modern diagnostic methods in patients with metabolic syndrome who have had COVID-19 Materials and methods. The subjects of the study were 53 patients in the acute period of coronavirus infection caused by COVID-19, who met the criteria for inclusion in the study. Group 1 consisted of 35 people with metabolic syndrome and 18 patients without metabolic syndrome in the acute period of COVID-19. Results of the study: In the 1st group of patients, in relation to the 2nd group, the data on HbA1c was 5.26±0.74, while in the 2nd group it was 8.18±5.02, which is almost 3% higher. Significantly high TG levels were observed in the group with MS (p=0.04) and low HDL (p=0.03). Also, the imbalance in lipid status in patients with MS who had a coronavirus infection was characterized by an increased content of total cholesterol and LPN. Summary: The HOMA index showed the most predictive value in assessing the risk of complications in patients with MS who have had COVID-19

FACTORS INFLUENCING THE OUTCOME OF SURGICAL TREATMENT OF CONCOMITANT STRABISMUS
Boboev S.A., Kosimov R.E., Sabirova D.B.
Abstract: We conducted a retrospective analysis of the medical records of 100 children with concomitant converging strabismus of both eyes who were undergoing inpatient surgical treatment in the eye department of the 1st clinic of the Samarkand State Medical Institute from 2018 to 2023.The age of the patients was 4-8 years (mean age 6.5 ± 0.55 years). There were 58 girls, 42 boys. In 28 children, strabismus developed from birth; 72 – aged from 2 to 5 years. In the preoperative period, all patients underwent optical correction, orthoptic treatment in the conditions of specialized kindergarten No. 79 for children in Samarkand, and also received treatment in outpatient clinics from an ophthalmologist at the place of residence. To form binocular vision, we used synoptophore, amblyotrener, muscle trainer, mosaic, irritation of the macula area with light, diploptic and pleoptic. Essential for the treatment of strabismus are its form, period of limitation, conditions of visual acuity with and without correction, refraction of the eye, the presence of amblyopia, the age of the patient, the starting angle of deviation, the diligence of the patient and their parents, the beginning of the treatment period, as well as concomitant diseases. There was a correlation between the outcome of treatment and the initial angle of deviation and the time of its occurrence.
