BREAKING THE MECHANISM OF STRENGTH OF BONDS BETWEEN THE STRUCTURAL ELEMENTS OF SALTED SOILS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF A MOVING LOAD

Д.А.Каюмов, Н.Аскаров, М.Эргашов, Б.Толибов

The determinations of the influence of repeated and short-term loads on the physical and mechanical properties, including the strength and deformation characteristics of compacted slightly saline sandy loamy soils of chloride-sulphate salinization, are analyzed. The physical and mechanical properties of compacted saline soils also depend on the state of the moving load, i.e. from repeated and short-term transport loads. Laboratory studies were carried out with slightly saline sandy loamy soils of chloride-sulfate salinity. Laboratory experiments have shown that with an increase in the amount of exposure to cyclic and short-term loads on the soil, residual deformations, density and modulus of settlement increase, and porosity, porosity coefficient, strength and deformation characteristics of the soil decrease.

STANDARD PHOTOMETRIC SYSTEMS: THE JOHNSON-CUSINS UBVRI SYSTEM

Шероз Эралиевич Нурмаматов

More than a hundred different photometric systems are currently in use. Many of these systems have been developed for specific purposes. Some of them have a wide bandwidth (30 nm or wider) and some are narrow enough to measure certain spectral lines. We will discuss one of the most widely used systems, the Johnson-Cousins UBVRI system

MEASURING LIGHT FROM STARS TO OUR DETECTOR

Шероз Эралиевич Нурмаматов

Virtually everything we know about the cosmos comes from the study of electromagnetic radiation. We have sent spacecraft to a few nearby objects in our solar system to analyze or bring back samples. We routinely detect cosmic rays—high energy particles originating in spectacular astrophysical events like supernova. But most of what we know comes from measuring the intensity of electromagnetic radiation.
