Abstract. This article provides methods for determining a point whose coordinates are unknown by cutting a right angle. In geodesy, angular cuts are used in the construction of survey networks, in the planned connection of aerial photographs, and for various purposes. The advantage is that it can be determined by measuring the distance and angle from two points whose coordinates are known without going to a point whose coordinates are unknown.
