FEATURES OF MEDICAL TREATMENTS USAGE IN PEDIATRICS

Abstract: The use of drugs in pediatrics has its own characteristics. The properties of the child’s body are taken into account here. Medicines that, when used by adults, do not pass through the blood-brain barrier in children, since this barrier is underdeveloped, have undesirable effects. Therefore, when recommending drugs, all these nuances for children are taken into account. In this article, we presented the effects of drugs affecting cholinergic and adrenergic innervation, analgesics, expectorants, drugs used for anemia, cardiac glycosides, hormones and vitamins, antibiotics and sulfonamides.

Abstract: Hemoglobinopathies are a group of severe hereditary blood diseases caused by a violation of the structure of hemoglobin or a decrease in the synthesis of one or more globin chains. The clinical picture is extremely varied. Common symptoms are hemolytic anemia, enlarged spleen, and bone damage. Diagnosis is carried out using peripheral blood smear microscopy, hemoglobin electrophoresis, and genetic studies. For treatment, transfusions of blood components, hydroxyurea preparations, and infusion therapy are used. In severe patients, splenectomy and stem cell allotransplantation are performed.

FEATURES OF NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS IN CYSTIC FIBROSIS

Abstract: This article analyzed literary information about the features of the development of neurological disorders in cystic fibrosis (CF), about modern views on the early diagnosis of this pathology. A generalized analysis of scientific foreign and domestic literature shows that this problem still has a number of complex unresolved issues. Integrating mental health screening, early detection of neurological disorders, and targeted treatment of patients with CF may reduce the mortality and disability observed in this disease.

ANALYSIS OF THE COMBINATION OF BRONCHIAL ASTHMA AND ALLERGIC RHINITIS IN CHILDREN

Abstract: According to most researchers, today there is a tendency to increase the incidence of many allergic pathologies, including such pathologies as bronchial asthma (BA), in addition, most patients with this pathology have the addition of combined diseases, among which allergic rhinitis is most often diagnosed as a concomitant pathology in BA. The purpose of this study was to evaluate comorbid forms of asthma in combination with allergic rhinitis in children. The study was based on a survey of 42 children diagnosed with atopic asthma, during which, according to the results of an ENT examination, it was revealed that allergic rhinitis was diagnosed in 23 (54.8±4%) of the studied children
