ANTIMICROBIAL ACTIVITIES OF EXTRACTS OF PLANTS BELONGING TO ASTERACEAE FAMILY ENDEMIC FOR UZBEKISTAN

Abstract: The increase in the number of diseases that threaten human health in the world causes the need to create new pharmacological drugs to expand year by year. In this regard, the use of natural compounds of plants and their synthetic analogues in the field of pharmaceuticals opens up wide opportunities. In this study the antimicrobial activities of the extracts obtained from 16 endemic plants belonging to the Asteraceae against Gram-positive bacteria (Staphylococcus aureus and Bacillus subtilis), Gram-negative bacteria (Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Escherichia coli) and yeast (Candida albicans) were studied. According to obtained results, ethyl alcoholic extracts were more active compered low polar solvents extracts. Moreover, Achillea filipendulina, Cynara scolymus, Artemisia leucodes, Artemisia annua, Erigeron canadensis, Handelia trichophylla, Lactuca sp., Onopordum acanthium and Tragopogon malicus extracts showed different levels of activity.

Abstract: It has now been established that the antagonistic activity of a probiotic strain is associated with two of its properties: the ability to colonize the mucous membranes of the macroorganism, competing with a potential pathogen, and the bactericidal effect of metabolic products on competing cells. Lactobacilli include a large group of microorganisms that produce lactic acid as a result of the fermentation process. The main habitat of lactic fermentation bacteria is the soil around which cultivated plants, mainly grain crops, are concentrated. They occupy a leading position among many microorganisms of practical importance.

Abstract: In the structure of the pathology of the biliary tract, there is a significant increase in both dysfunctional disorders and diseases of an metabolic-inflammatory nature. At the same time, the proportion of cholelithiasis in children with an upward trend is increasing (1). A certain role in the formation of the pathology of the biliary tract is played by congenital anomalies of the gallbladder and biliary tract.The studies carried out indicate the frequency of lesions of the biliary tract in school-age children. Comparative analysis of the data obtained in a comprehensive study allows differentiating the pathology of the biliary tract, but with a clinical manifestation, and also confirms the informative value of X-ray and ultrasound studies to clarify the diagnosis
