HEMOGLOBINOPATHY

Hemoglobinopathies are a group of severe hereditary blood diseases caused by a violation of the structure of hemoglobin or a decrease in the synthesis of one or more globin chains. The clinical picture is extremely varied. Common symptoms are hemolytic anemia, enlarged spleen, and bone damage. Diagnosis is carried out using peripheral blood smear microscopy, hemoglobin electrophoresis, and genetic studies. For treatment, transfusions of blood components, hydroxyurea preparations, and infusion therapy are used. In severe patients, splenectomy and stem cell allotransplantation are performed.

FEATURES OF NEUROLOGICAL DISORDERS IN CYSTIC FIBROSIS

This article analyzed literary information about the features of the development of neurological disorders in cystic fibrosis (CF), about modern views on the early diagnosis of this pathology. A generalized analysis of scientific foreign and domestic literature shows that this problem still has a number of complex unresolved issues. Integrating mental health screening, early detection of neurological disorders, and targeted treatment of patients with CF may reduce the mortality and disability observed in this disease.

ANALYSIS OF THE COMBINATION OF BRONCHIAL ASTHMA AND ALLERGIC RHINITIS IN CHILDREN

According to most researchers, today there is a tendency to increase the incidence of many allergic pathologies, including such pathologies as bronchial asthma (BA), in addition, most patients with this pathology have the addition of combined diseases, among which allergic rhinitis is most often diagnosed as a concomitant pathology in BA. The purpose of this study was to evaluate comorbid forms of asthma in combination with allergic rhinitis in children. The study was based on a survey of 42 children diagnosed with atopic asthma, during which, according to the results of an ENT examination, it was revealed that allergic rhinitis was diagnosed in 23 (54.8±4%) of the studied children

The nosology of acute poisoning is extremely diverse and differs significantly in different countries. In Uzbekistan, the bulk of poisoning is accounted for by alcohol and its surrogates, acids (mainly acetic) and alkalis, various medications, mainly hypnotics and sedatives, organophosphorus and other pesticides. The biological activity of chemical compounds is determined by their structure, physical and chemical properties, dose (concentration) and duration of exposure; features of intake and biotransformation in the body; resistance of tissues and organs to poisons and the individual characteristics of a particular victim. In this regard, the forensic medical assessment of concomitant acute poisoning is a very relevant and unresolved problem.

Various brain structures, their interaction and, consequently, mental functions reach full development at different ages and in a specific way determine the individual characteristics of the child. When the rates of development of functional systems differ, developmental heterochronies arise. Heterochrony is manifested by the uneven development of functional systems, which must meet the need to comply with the changing forms of interaction of the child with the environment. However, it is argued that heterochronies in the development of functional systems can become the basis for partial delays in motor, speech or mental development. In connection with the above, in this article the authors studied EEG signs that allow us to judge the level and degree of irritation of the brain stem structures under mental stress in primary school students against the background of long-term adaptation to intellectual stress associated with classes in the chess universal education program, which is relevant .
