IMPROVING THE EXPERIMENTAL RESEARCH ACTIVITIES OF 6-7-YEAR-OLD CHILDREN THROUGH A LABORATORY TOOL

This article explains the purpose of organizing a laboratory for children of the school preparation group, the tasks of improving experimental research activities through a laboratory tool and a description of the initial results. Also, through interesting and safe experiments, it is possible to develop logical, free, critical and creative thinking in children, to form the skills of analysis, to draw an independent conclusion, to allow children to express their free thoughts, to form research skills, to increase their interest in the exact and Natural Sciences, to form an ecological culture, to approach the environment, to, through interesting experiments, lighting of development areas, linking experimental activities through integration, shaping the skill of reasoning in children, analysis of equipment and materials in the laboratory area and, of course, quality preparation for school are highlighted.

BAHOUDDIN NAKSHBAND'S "AVROD" PAMPHLET

The article confirms the existence of work “Avrod” which is written by the seventh feast of the holy Bukhara, the great Bahauddin Nakshband(1318-1389), known as Shoh Nakshband, Xojai Buzurg, Balogardon, a feast of the 16th ring of the Sufi tariqah of Khojagan Nakshbandiya. As a proof we can say that, Tahsin wrote an article about the writer Bahauddin Naqshband in the 9th volume of the "Islamic Encyclopedia" published in Istanbul in 1959. He said that Bahauddin Naqshband had a work called "Avrod". A manuscript of Bahauddin Naqshaband's work "Avrod" with the code V3829 is stored on pages 75b-89a, this copy was copied on the Volga in 1287, 1870/71 coded copy of Avrod A1539 is kept on pages 25b-44a and it is stored in the St.Petersburg branch of the Institute of Oriental Studies under Bahauddin Nakshband, Nakshbandiya, tariqat, “Avrod”, the Academy of Sciences of Russia. We have found these two manuscripts, translated from Arabic language and philosophically analyzed their content. We have found the work of Ali ibn Ahmad al-Ghuri, Kanz al-ibad fi sharh al-Awrad belong to 15-century and discovered that it was commentary of Bahauddin Naqshband’s work “Avrod”. We were lucky enough to find and analyze a manuscript copy of Ali Ibn Ahmad al-Guri's commentary on Avrod, which is kept in the manuscript archive of the Institute of Oriental Studies named after Abu Rayhan Beruny under the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan under the code 2944/1. In addition, we also found another commentary work Al-Ijabat al-Rabbaniya and Manafi'ul Virdi Naqshbandi by Sheikh al-Akbar Sayyid Muhammad Bahauddin al-Husseini al-Hasani al-Uwaisi al-Bukhari an-Naqshband and based on this analysed Bahauddin Naqshband’s work “Avrod”. This article provides information about comparison of Bahauddin Naqshband’s “Avrod” with "Evrad-i Bahaiyye"and pamphlet “Avrodi naqshbandiya” published in 2018, in the International Islamic Academy of Uzbekistan Publishing and Printing Association.

IDENTIFYING YOUNG LEARNERS’ DIFFICULTIES IN ESL READING COMPREHENSION

Mastering a foreign language requires acquisition of reading skill as the fundamental skills in language learning. However, statistics show that Uzbek young learners in elementary schools are not reading enough especially second, third and fourth graders who are labeled as reluctant readers. This is deeply reflected in their reading comprehension which is one of the tested components of the entrance examinations of the presidential schools or agency specialized schools. Therefore, this study aimed to identify the learners’ difficulties in ESL Reading comprehension. Thus, a test was conducted among 142 fourth grade students of elementary schools in Gulistan district. Reading test were given out to the respondents involved. The data obtained from the survey were analyzed using SPSS. There were five different types of questions of reading comprehension. Based on the analysis it was found that the most of the students’ difficulties are related to the process of reading inside and outside of the classroom. Finally, what the teachers could do to address this issue was discussed as the implication of these findings and some ways were provided to solve them.

TEACHING ENGLISH LITERATURE ONLINE IN UZBEKISTAN

The teaching process in Uzbekistan changed unexpectedly due to the Covid-19. Educational system turned into online. This sudden shift arose several difficulties for both teachers and for students. Teachers started to prepare the teaching materials in Moodle platform, they had uploaded thousands of important documents and materials related to every subject. Students came across with internet connection problems. Moreover, most of the students faced difficulties with studying online because they were adapted for traditional way of teaching and learning.
