Abstract. In the humoral connection of organs, tissues and cells, some of them are of particular importance, since they produce substances that have a special effect on the metabolism and function of organs and tissues. These substances are called hormones, and the organs that produce them are called endocrine glands. This article talks about the endocrine glands, specifically mentions the hormones they produce, the endocrine system, cells and tissues associated with hormones.
