Abstract. This article presents the conclusions about the scientific and pedagogical content and the model of the formation of media culture among future teachers of a foreign language on the basis of interdisciplinary interaction and models for the development of media culture of students of higher educational institutions at the initial stage, the necessary methodological instructions are given.
