Abstract. This article discusses and argues that it is impossible to imagine the solution of managerial problems in higher education without developing students' managerial skills, professional skills and leadership qualities, the introduction of this approach serves to prevent accidents and unforeseen events in management. The competence-based approach provides for the formation of professional competencies and managerial qualities in future teachers.
