Abstract. In this study, the effect of synthesis time on the physicochemical properties of thermosetting high molecular weight phenol-formaldehyde oligomers synthesised in the ratio of phenolic alcohol and diethyleneglycoladipinatols (80:1 mol/mol) was investigated. The synthesis of diethyleneglycoladipinatol (DEGA), phenolic alcohol (PhA) and the structure of the final oligomers were studied by IR spectroscopy and NMR1 H, NMR13C spectroscopy.
