Abstract. The article examines the current problems of modern education and reveals philosophical ideas about the role of digital technologies in the educational system. It talks about the informatization of the modern education system, its role in improving the quality and opportunities of education, the problems and threats that arise as a result of the creation of a digital educational environment covering the world, and the solutions aimed at their elimination.
