Abstract. This article gives a general description of the organization of the role of physical culture in shaping the personality of students, their interests and creative abilities, in improving motor and psychophysiological qualities, in promoting health and preventing diseases of schoolchildren in the structure of general secondary education, the subject should be of an applied nature, occupy one of the leading places in the system of interdisciplinary connections and contribute to the solution of important general pedagogical decisions
