Abstract. This article focuses on the use of PISA tests based on the International Student Assessment System in geography lessons. The transition to an international assessment system to improve and enhance the effectiveness of teaching geography will increase students 'logical thinking, broaden their horizons, interdisciplinary connections will be integrated, and students' knowledge will be more than one subject at a time. cognitive potential increases.This is illustrated by the example of the subject of flora and fauna of the continent of Antarctica.
