Abstract. Digitization is a power for solving the main problems in education in the 21st century. Digitization has transformed learning and teaching spaces from traditional methods of classroom or lecture teaching to a virtual electronic platform. With digital technology, everyone has the opportunity to basic education, including elders. This article talks about digitization of education and features of adult education. Digitization in education has proven to be the right way to save resources, time and money. Today, the concept of continuous education is relevant and is aimed at realizing the potential of every person, regardless of age. Adults rarely have the opportunity to study every time. Therefore, working citizens are offered the opportunity of evening, part-time, distance education, as well as study abroad. A modern specialist should have the ability to learn continuously and acquire new knowledge, skills and abilities. Only this will allow you to keep up with the times and be considered a high-level specialist. Adult learning and education provides people with the opportunity to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills, virtues and values to develop and realize their rights and become the owners of their own destinies.
