TEACHING THE BINARY NUMBER SYSTEM IN SCRATCH

Abstract. This article provides information on the importance of the Scratch programming environment and its use in teaching students about the binary number system and explaining algorithms and programming concepts. Development of educational animation and games using the Scratch programming environment, the stages of programming and the sequence of its use are explained.
