Abstract. On the territory of modern Uzbekistan, folk crafts and applied arts have been developed since ancient times and are widely popular among the people. Handicrafts are widely used in interior and exterior decoration of residential and public buildings, clothing and household appliances. Products made by craftsmen in the national style have risen to the level of works of art. There are many examples of this: jewelry, decoration of residential and public buildings with patterns, elegant household items made of ceramics and metal, intricate patterns. Decorations made in the national style in the architectural monuments of such cities as Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva are highly valued by tourists and connoisseurs for their elegance and perfection.
