PRESERVATION OF JERUSALEM ARTICHOKE VARIETY NOVOST VIR DEPENDING ON TREATMENT OF TUBERS WITH DIFFERENT PREPARATIONS

Abstract. When stored at an air temperature of +5…+9°C after treatment with various drugs with the expected fungicidal effect, it was found that the drugs used had an effect on moisture retention in tubers. After two or three months, it turned out that the preparations Zeromix and Tiaton contributed to a greater retention of moisture by 3-4% than the preparations Artafit and Milefung and by 8-11% than in the control. The most effective storage options for Jerusalem artichoke tubers are proposed, depending on the purpose: for seed purposes - up to one and a half months; for fresh consumption and culinary purposes - within three weeks; for processing into phosphates, syrups, candied fruits, granulated feed and additives, for the production of alcohol and bioethanol - within two months; for processing into inulin-containing powder or inulin-containing flour - within three months.
