Abstract. This article analyzes Lermontov's novel "The Hero of Our Time", in which Pechorin is the main character. And Pechorin is surrounded by ordinary and natural people who have not been affected by the environment and society, like Bela and Maksim Maksimych. Pechorin is superior to them with his noble lineage, upbringing and personal glory.
