IMPROVING THE METHODOLOGY OF DEVELOPING FUNCTIONAL LITERACY IN STUDENTS

Abstract. In the article, the development of functional literacy from international assessment studies, analyzing the results, and determining the necessary conditions in Uzbekistan, preparing students for the international assessment program, developing their creative thinking, reading literacy, i.e. reading comprehension, simple and formation of the ability to compose short texts, adaptation to life through financial and mathematical literacy and global competence, teaching how to solve various problems, and in natural scientific literacy, proposals and recommendations have been developed in accordance with the integration of natural sciences in life.
