Abstract. In this article, in the system in which water is supplied for the consumption of water for the population, for industrial production buildings, for the cultivation of agricultural products, that is, in the pumping units of the pumping stations, various inconveniences caused by external factors, including the energy waste in the motors driving the pumps, in the pumps the cases of cavitation and hydroabrasive corrosion and their elimination methods are discussed.
