Abstract. This article discusses the diagnosis of the state of the disease, reflecting the essence of the pathological process, and it is becoming increasingly important in assessing the disease from a legal position. According to the literature, many drugs have hepato-, nephro-, hemato- and other side effects in the form of toxicity. In ICD-10, situations are clearly defined when iatrogenic must necessarily be in the first place (six positions). 1. Drug overdose. 2. Incorrect prescription of the drug. 3. Unprofessional performance of diagnostic or therapeutic procedures. 4. Death due to preventive measures (for example, due to vaccination). 5. Death from anesthesia. 6. Anaphylactic shock. Thus, taking into account the above literature data, the forensic medical examination of the corpse, macroscopic and histological studies made the diagnosis: Anaphylactic shock from side effects after administration of ceftriaxone, cerebral and pulmonary edema, acute cardiovascular failure. A lightning-fast reaction in anaphylactic shock occurs with the smallest amount of allergenic substance introduced into the body and measures taken against shock do not give results. For the occurrence of anaphylactic shock, the dose of the drug does not matter and it is impossible to foresee it
