Abstract. The article talks about the system of regulatory and support measures of the state in improving small business management, the importance of the fiscal, monetary and direct policy of the state is revealed. The forms of state regulation and support of small and medium-sized business in the conditions of Uzbekistan are presented as a whole system, having studied the scientific views of local and foreign scientists. Also, a new name for state support of small business, that is, the term small business rehabilitation, was developed. As one of the criteria for identifying small business entities in the digital economy, the new content criterion is presented as a novelty of the author's scientific research. Proposals and recommendations of scientific and practical significance have been developed on the topic.
