INTERRELATION OF RELIGIOUS ATTITUDES AND SUICIDICITY IN ADOLESCENTS

Abstract. The article examines the relationship between religious attitudes and suicidal tendencies in adolescence. The depth of religious attitudes and religiosity reduce a number of suicidal risk factors. The peculiarity of the influence of religion on the ideas of a teenager is that it contributes to the formation of their idea of a positive and non-hostile world. Religion in the confessions considered can act as a "lifeline", providing spiritual protection from traumatic situations. That is, religion not only prohibits suicidal actions, but also acts as a resource that allows you to resist and fight the influence of various factors that determine suicidal behavior.
