Abstract. The article describes agrotechnical measures related to the biology of seed germination when planting seeds when growing roses. Seeding rates, factors affecting seed germination,seedling height and diameter and standard yield of seedlings are given. At the same time, it was started that 70-85% of the seeds sown in March are suitable for use as cuttings in the third decade of August.
