Abstract. The article presents the results of studies on the rooting of stem cuttings of Oriental sucker using a solution of heteroauxin. The control variant in the experiments was the variant of the experiment, where the stem cuttings of the Oleaster sucker were planted, harvested in the spring. The influence of water and a solution of heteroauxin at a concentration of 0.01% treated for 18, 22 and 26 hours before planting was studied. The heteroauxin solution did not have a positive effect on the rooting of the cuttings. The best result on the growth and development of rooted cuttings was provided by the control variant, the average height of seedlings at the end of the growing season was 115.8±5.54 sm, and the diameter was 7.3±0.23 mm, the safety was 66%. Low results of growth and development of seedlings were observed in variants where the cuttings were treated with water and heteroauxin for 26 hours. The average height of seedlings at the end of the growing season was 83.8±5.89 sm and a diameter of 5.5±0.39 mm, the survival rate was 62%.
