Abstract. Phraseological units are considered one of the most interesting parts of the vocabulary. Analysis of translation and semantic features of phraseological units used in literature is one of the main issues of translation theory.
This article aimed at investigating the translation and semantic features of phraseological units used in the Italian short stories. Theoretical data about phraseological units are discussed and analyzed with reasonable examples.
