Abstract. This article analyzes the trends of clothing patterns from the second half of the 20th century and the factors that influenced it. During this period, it was studied which elements of clothes were emphasized by the designers of the fashion houses established in the Republic. The sources used for the analysis belong to the Saodat magazine, published in 1971, which covered the types of newly created dresses and how they were recognized among the masses.
