Abstract. It is crucial to comprehend that the rapid changes and reforms are taking place in our society today. After all, the greatness of any nation is determined by the fact that it has fully preserved its past, that is, its true history and values. One of the important and integral parts of the national culture of the countries of the world is the history of the emergence of printing and publishing. The first printing presses in Turkestan were established in such large cultural centers such as Tashkent, Samarkand, Kokand, Bukhara, Khiva, Andijan, Namangan, and Fergana. It should be noted with pride that the exemplary life and activity of our great scholars and thinkers who lived in the land of Turan, as well as the unparalleled scientific and creative discoveries still amaze the people of the world today. Analytical views on the history and source science of the study of "Invention of printing and publishing in Turkestan" were presented in this research work.
