VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN-GIRLS AS A SOCIAL-PSYCHOLOGICAL PROBLEM

Abstract. In 1950, the UN General Assembly adopted the "Declaration on the Elimination of Violence against Women" (1979). The reason for the different classifications of the phenomenon of violence is that it has a very complex structure. While there are physical, sexual, psychological, economic types of violence, there are causes and consequences such as psychological deprivation and neglect, violation of self-control, interpersonal and collective problems at various levels. It also has the property of being a multidimensional set of behaviors. On the types of "context of social interaction" in which violent acts occur; can be classified as human, interpersonal and collective levels.
