Abstract. This article is about explaining to students the differences between mathematics and economics and their levels of importance to each other, based on some philosophical approaches in an integral context with the science of mathematics. It is also about helping students to be thrifty in life, being able to apply mathematical and economic knowledge in a situation where they can differentiate, and being as broad-minded as possible.
