Abstract. The article examines the development of mobile operating systems based on information available in open sources (Internet). That is, we can get acquainted with the main components and types of operating systems (OS). The direction of the operating system (OS) for mobile devices is one of the rapidly developing directions in the development and implementation of operating systems.
