Abstract. The impact of human economic activity on river flow dates back to ancient times. This effect is reflected in changes in the hydrological regime of rivers, quantitative and qualitative indicators of water resources. In the early stages of human society's historical development and progress, its impact on the water regime of rivers was not observed on a large scale and therefore was not significant.
