Abstract. The waters of the oceans, which occupy most of the earth's land, hold various chemical elements dissolved in it. Almost all elements of Mendeleev's periodic table of chemical elements can be found in the waters of the ocean. They can be used for different purposes. This article provides information on the economic use of elements contained in ocean waters.
